Really like how Abe handled the backgrounds on this one - whole place looks very colorful and varied, and reminds me of a bookstore in my particular mall of choice.
Besides that, we have a lot of dialogue here but with it comes a bit of background information on Hearst. There'll be a bit more of that later into the chapter and we'll hear more about her past as things go by, but we now know that Hearst has field experience herself.
Abe's Comments:
And now we see why Author keeps a little eye glass on the head of his cane. I thought it was a nice touch up giving he's a book theme costumed guy. You need it to read the small print which books often have. When I revamped his designed I figured it was either that or have him wear a monocle which would have given more of a James Bond-ian feel but not what I was looking for. As for the book he's reading it's just a little title I called "Crime & Theatrics: Analysis of the Costume Vigilante Movement" which someone would have wrote I assume someone would have just recently wrote in a long series of books since the Masked Heroes of such were acceptable behavior. I believe it's more of a latest edition. The Dept. Store Terror books series would probably be more of a children's book series like Goosebumps and of course the Samurai book stand would be like the Manga section, which every good book store should have. Ah, I love book stores, don't you just love em'?
