Adam's Comments:
Wow, great effect on this. I try to cram a lot into pages and I do terrible, don't know where I'd even start on something like this. Something I can really admire about Abe's work. ^^

Martin's Comments:
Yeah, this one did come out well as usual. The weremole sort of got wasted, though - admittedly, I was originally just going to have him in human form but expanded things because I liked the design Abe came up with.

Still, you'll probably see him again at some point. It is a cool look, and he has potential.

Abe's Comments:
And so exit Marina and her friends. "Vamonos (which is misspelled by the way, it should be Vamanos!)" it means "Let's go" where in seeing a fearsome foe has prompted them to just go.

You know there's an old acting exercise that's called Lion Face-Lemon Face. Lion Face "AAAAAAAA," Lemon Face "ooooooo." Lion Face "AAAAAAAA," Lemon Face "ooooooo." And so on in that order. As you can see from the last panel, Stephen is really getting his Lion Face ON. There's something very Dragon Ball Z about Stephen's transformed state that's very Zarbonesque.

My biggest concern was the idea of when daylight should struck to reverse the transformation. That is why gradually the light in the sky seemed to increase gradually over the last few panels.

As for the reversion effect, the aura was just something to indicate this change. And the whole LVup and LVdwn is just to show that while one is getting weaker the other is getting stronger. I don't know if the cat has any magic of his own to make him transform like that, but I'd say it's much like being exposed to Gamma Radiation. Even if you've never touched the stuff, it can still effect you after prolonged exposure to close proximity. And they do say that Animals do tend to resemble their owners.
