Martin's Comments:
Yeah, the card-playing thing I based off what was a very common way for people to pass time when I was in high school. And yes, there was usually money involved - it tended to vary whether I joined in but usually I did.

Anyway, outside of that I don't have much to say about this page. Am happy with it, though, and I do like the way this room came out looking - has a good shady hangout sort of feel to it.

Adam's Comments:
Heheh. Cards is one of those activities I really like but am terrible at and never get to do anyway. Also on that list are Chess and pool.

And yeah, this does kinda have a dingy, back-room feel to it, which I think comes more from the colors. I had planned it to resemble more just a rec room, like the kind your parents make out of your bedroom when you move out, but Martin's colors made it look kinda seedy. Is a nice effect- can easily see a fist-fight breaking out over cheating or some tresspasser being dragged inside to have his legs broken on top of the table.

Speaking of the table, at first it was just gonna be a boring square card table with retractable legs, but looking up references for "Card table" made me feel silly for not realizing how else you could go with it.
