Martin's Comments:
For those keeping track, this chapter is taking place on September 24th. Yeah, taken us awhile to get out of September, but this chapter is the last of them before we roll on into October. Still, we're not at the halfway point of the chapter yet, so not quite gearing to close out the month just yet.

So, we get a brief page focusing on Lillian here. Yeah, really hoping to give her more focus soon, likely happening in chapter ten, but she does at least serve the purpose of pointing out some oddities about Dorothy's behavior recently. Something she also did back in chapter four, come to think of it.

Actually, behind Power, Lillian has the longest streak of appearances at the moment interestingly enough. Even has a BP appearance in there. Still, she's hardly gotten much in the way of screentime so far, though that'll be changing soon.

Really, goes for the school stuff as a whole. Not gotten a lot of focus so far, since we've mostly been establishing Starchild to this point, but this chapter and the tenth will both see a change of form there.

Also, if you didn't know, Laura's appeared in the last few Black Princess pages, and Alex has joined her as of the last one. Why not swing by and take a look if you haven't been reading it?

Adam's Comments:
In the last panel, those two dialog balloons too tiny to read aren't just scribbles. I just opened the text options and typed out something, then made it super-tiny. You wanna know what it says?
"Go read Blue Blood Heroes, you guys. Seriously, I can't afford to advertise it right now, but go on, guys."
"Uhh.... Mr. Cox, what're you talking about?"

No, that's not a joke, that's what it says. Squint your eyes.

Huh... Wouldn't've guessed Lillian had appeared that much in the comic. I mean, we see her a lot but hasn't gotten a lot of exposure. Probably doesn't help that I keep drawing her with this obliviously-happy expression on her face, like to the point were Alex could loudly complain about missing his penis and not have her notice anything.

I would like to see more of the school bunch though, especially Laura and Jack, who I think a lot can be done with. ^^

The month thing always makes me feel weird. Wright As Rayne has this very tightly planned out timeline of events stictly related to the time of year. Blue Blood Heroes, meanwhile, plays very fast and loose with that. I don't even think I know what season it is in Blues right now. Though it is Texas, and once you get this far down south the only three seasons you get are "Hot," "Mildly chilly" and "THE HEAT, MY GOD THE HEAT!"

Speaking of school stuff needing more focus, another thing I should think about doing in Blues. I'd like to introduce more supporting students sometime down the road, it's just that the main 6 (... Heh) kids are so much fun I have trouble tearing myself away. Only other kids in the school to get any focus are Heather and to a lesser extent Lenore and Guy.

God, talked a lot about Blues in this one, huh? Didn't mean to go on like that... Whatever, go read it.
