Adam's Comments:
Ivy really looks good for someone who got a laser-blast to the face. Guess the mask has some protective qualities to it. That's the benefit to using lasers and not bullets- you can make them hurt as much as you want.

John holding the fire behind his back is a visual reference to the first time you see Pyro in the X-Men movies, where he's showing off his powers in class. If I'm gonna talk about that panel though, should mention Jordan's pose. She looks like she's rapping.

Recall when I first drew this I didn't put Ivy in the last panel or I put her too low or something. Whatever it was, I didn't notice until Martin pointed it out and I had to go back and re-draw it. I made stupid errors like that all the time, why Martin's such a big help for me. ^^

Martin's Comments:
It was too low, yeah - it looked like she had slipped under the sidewalk or something.

Still, this page came out nicely. As usual for action pages I don't have much to say about it, but not too much longer to go on this showdown. I think there's another week or so.
