Ya wanna know something sad? That David And Goliath reference in the last panel? I didn't get it the entire time I was working on this page, I was just thinking "Huh. What a weird thing to say." It wasn't until I was drawing the next page that I got the joke.

Ah, well. Starchild! Woo! We were so looking forward to this page, just counting down the big debut to seeing her, and here she is. ^^

Beyond that, I like the expressions in his page. I love Alex doing the Kubrick Stare when he enters the bank as Starchild and Paul's deadpan look as he throws the bag of loot over his shoulder.

Martin's Comments:
Yeah, I have to imagine that without getting the reference that line would be completely incomprehensible. Kind of amusing to picture a superhero fighting crime with an ordinary slingshot, though - could be an interesting visual for a sidekick or something.

How about that extra? You know, the one with the eggplant-shaped jaw there? I'm sure there's nothing remarkable about any of the other extras in this page at all. Not a bit.
