Martin's Comments:
So here we get to the real point, for the moment, of Alex's inclusion in this chapter besides just to tie up that loose end with Sareena's characterization - he gives good advice and in this case helps to move Sareena's own story and thoughts along in the process. Something Alex has been a little too busy being jerked around and lied to in WaR to do so far, but it is about time to start lightening him up and showing more to his personality. Of course it makes sense he'd be bitter early on, but time to start progressing there. Granted, next chapter isn't quite where it happens. . .

I'm going to go ahead and mention that Alex will be fairly heavily present in the next BP chapter as well, but in that case the chapters are not running concurrently - BP's takes place later this same night and then the next evening, while WaRs takes place sometime during the day in between. Alex is mostly a supporting character to some other things there though, not a whole lot of overlap with what's going on in WaR besides some stray nods and the chapter is going to be focused on Sareena, Misty, and Raymond for the most part.

Anyway, yeah, off the subject of Alex! The next chapter is called Ghosts in the Attic, as has been said, but first we have a two-part image spread of some of the cast thus far. A few reasons for this - I thought there was potential for some nice imagery with it, and it wouldn't really be appropriate to throw up a cover or something as a counterpart to WaR's seeing as while WaR ended the Power storyline, 98.9: The Ride's mostly just raised questions for later. Plus I've been wanting to do something like this for awhile, if only because there are some characters we haven't seen in awhile who should be showing up again soon.

So yeah, join us Saturday and next Tuesday for a two-part image - I hesitate to call it filler, seeing as the head count on it's as high as most BP pages and there is stuff going on - then we start chapter eight next Saturday, with a new cover format that we're very happy with.

Adam's Comments:
Now that you mention it, BP pages are pretty low in head counts compared to WaR and Blues, aren't they? Well, maybe not WaR so much, but definitely Blues. Though that's sorta unfair since the head counts on those are typically way too Goddamn high.

Not much else to say on this though. So like this set, so to speak... Also missed the speech-bubble-arrow-thingy on Alex's balloon in the second panel so had to add it in Paint before I sent it off to Martin. Now you can't unsee it. Also because I lost a lot of fonts when my computer crashed, I had to wholesale copy/paste the End Of Chapter notice from one of Abe's pages.

Finals start this week. Wish me luck.
