Been up like 19 hours, just got home from my brother's graduation about an hour and a half away, and got pulled over along the way. Not in the most talkative of moods. Good, but tired.
Still, I am happy with this one. Particularly the transformation effect, and the way Abe presented what I wanted to convey. Not a lot to say about the writing right at the moment, but hope people enjoy it.
A solid indicator, I went and closed this tab while it was loading. Fortunately Chrome keeps track of inputted data or I probably would've said screw it and had Adam handle it.
Abe's Comments:
2 Things about the Transformation. 1) You get to see that Chain is used for more than just decoration, which is what I intended in his character design to have it turn into like a staff or boomerang or sword or sorts depending on the person's preferences. And as for those little silver cures are supposed to represent the phases of the moon and they even form a neat little crown. I'd like to call this a "Solstice Form" of course that's not official just something that just popped out of my head at the time I drew it.
And the way the last panel looks you would think that Marina is actually laughing at Misty, but she doesn't even notice her, as she has her backed turn though it's funny how it may seem like that.
