Martin's Comments:
Yeah, Misty having magic of her own is a little bit of a retcon. Doesn't necessarily contradict anything, but still might be a little out of nowhere; way I figured it though, it was for the best to give her at least a few spells of her own, probably taught to her by Sareena and maybe somebody or other else in Eighth Sin, given one idea with people with powers like hers is that they're a bit more naturally inclined toward using magic than average people, plus given her job it makes sense she'd have some abilities along that line. That and it helps to put her on a bit more of an even playing field with Sareena.

Also where we introduce a new addition to Alex's wardrobe over for WaR. He's probably not going to be wearing this perpetually like he does his coat in his own body, but did want him to at least have one. Kind of have this idea in my head that Alex has a certain amount of attachment to his coat.

Worth noting with this sequence, am wanting to sort of establish Alex as a supporting character within BP. Not that he'll be showing up often and what he's doing often won't directly impact Sareena and Misty, but he is kind of important enough to some things down the line that people who only read BP should still have at least some idea of what he's like.

Adam's Comments:
Not a terrible amount to say about this page.... The coming sequence is pretty interesting in the visual department, which is something I always love. I also sorta like how Sareena and Alex are still mostly just civil to each other, like from their facial expressions, you can tell things are sorta tense. Hell, I wouldn't be surprised if Alex is tagging along because he's afraid they might use Laura for a human sacrifice.

I'm kinda annoyed with the designs I had Misty scribbling on the walls, though. They're kinda just random shapes I was making. Though schedule's been tight for us both lately doing all three comics so I guess it might've been a little more trouble looking up some occult symbols or something.

Actually, I'm getting sorta tired of that. "We're doing three comics" has sorta become a go-to excuse for when I get sloppy... Sorry 'bout that, guys.

Y'know the "Blu Blud" graffiti in the second panel? I put that in the last page and the final panel of this one too, but that's just the only time it didn't wind up covered by a speech balloon.
