Martin's Comments:
The sound effect here was kind of a last-minute addition. The idea was that the cop was shot at some point after he passed out, thus why that isn't seen, but it wasn't really communicated too well in execution I don't think.

Besides that though, pretty happy with this one. Like the visuals, happy with the writing and coloring, communicates the idea of things pretty well...

Yeah, the next page pretty much wraps up the ghost's actual role in this plot. Kind of like the weremole back in chapter two, this was more sort of a means to the events going around it than the focus of the chapter in itself. I'll go ahead and say that things more unusual and adventurous will be more front-and-center in the two chapters following this one.

Adam's Comments:
The lettering on the "Bang Bang" really isn't as comic-booky as I'd have liked. I had a really good font I used in Blues once to that effect but lost it in the computer crash....

But yeah, do really like the first two panels, in particular the shadows in the second. Think that and cutting back to the ghost with the forelorn expression really work out very nicely. ^^ Script on this whole sequence was very good.

Alex's expression in the third panel... Not sure how well ya can see it, but he's sorta smiling about it. That was something about like as a super-hero I think about sometimes- all the cool stuff you get to see. I mean, how often do you see ghosts being led to the afterlife? Superheroes find wonderful stuff in their jobs all the time, and Alex I can see as being just the kind of guy to sit back at times and enjoy it.

Really, that aspect of the job absolutely has to come up in Blues.
