Martin's Comments:
Totally the natural progression from that last scene.

Been looking forward to getting to posting this sequence for awhile now. Curious to hear people's thoughts on this as it goes, so if you have any, please feel free to let us hear them.

By the end of this short scene, what's going on exactly will make sense, though its relevance to the proceedings won't be immediately clear. Long and short however is that this, combined with the cultists issue we've been seeing mentioned more and more lately, will be the backbone of our next major plot, so I strongly suggest paying attention to this scene no matter how strange it gets.

Also, if you want to see the scene with Section 24 continue, be sure to read The Black Princess over the next few weeks, as the sequence will be continuing to move forward there.

Adam's Comments:
Now you know the truth- Martin does coke. It's ruining his life. He wrote this script while he was tripping balls.

When I saw this script, I just broke out laughing. I know I like a script when it puts a big smile on my face, but this one just killed me. It also gave me a license to go totally crazy with drawing stuff. I knew it was a great page when I was impressed with it every step- from script to lineart, to coloring. ^^

I really only have one style to drawing, so even this minor Art Shift was weird for me, but I love how it came out. In particular all I like the scenery in the second panel and the subtle changes to Starchild's costume.

The first panel called for the giant tree overlooking the forest, which made me think of Secret Of Mana's Mana Tree the second I read it. Now that I've looked at this page again, I need to go listen to the Purelands music.
