Adam's Comments:
It really looks like that bolt of energy is about to hit John in the face and he doesn't care. The idea is that it's gonna fly between him and Alex while Ivy dodges. Also, the way Ivy moves her arms when she dodges I think makes her look kinda like a rapper.

Anyway, Daredevil effect. ^^ Always love using that.

Oh, forgot to mention it on the last page, but when Black Flame screams "LAURL?" I imagine it being delivered in a Jerry Lewis voice.

Martin's Comments:
Not much to say on this one. Usually I am kind of hard pressed on fight scenes. I did originally intend to hold out a bit on Jordan's fighting style, but wanted to try it out early - think it works well, but could use refinement.

Yeah, not a lot to say. Tempting to make some timely joke about somebody taking something as their contract runs out but no one would get it. So yeah.

As for the Daredevil effect, I wound up refining it a bit since this was colored so backed up and redone it for posting this.
