Adam's Comments:
Again, we get to see more of Xmarlek's office, which was a lot of fun to draw.

I have sort of a story in mind for the bag of cash beside his desk. I think one of the super-powered potentials looking for partnership came in with it and said he'd give it to him even if she didn't get the job to sweeten the deal. Xmarlek promptly checked the money to make sure it was real and told the guy to get out.

I really like the idea of a criminal stealing something really expensive and adored and then just using it for decoration. It sort of says, "Yeah, I'm so rich and powerful I did this insanely complicated heist just for something to hang in my bathroom."

Martin's Comments:
Not too much to say on this one, but I continue to like the look of this place. Adam did a great job here.

Also for those wondering, the next few pages pretty much continue the set-up of Xmarlek for stuff a little down the line. It won't be too long before we see him again after this, at least.
