Every story set in high school's got one and here's ours!
Enjoyed playing with her design too. I tried to do something a bit different with her eyes, making them a bit more feminine and yet more hawk-like, sort of a fem-fatale thing. Also lashes to imply she uses a lot of make-up. The hawk-like eye thing didn't come off so good here but I was later able to perfect it in Blues.
Very proud of the art on this, which is a big upswing from my usual feelings on my stuff lately, even if I don't have much to say. ^^ Sure Martin's got plenty to say on our Alpha Bitch.

Ugh, power went out for a second while I was typing my comments up. Was just about done with those.
Long and short of it, not too fond of characters like this usually but have some specific ideas in mind for what to do with Libby so hopefully won't hurt too much. Plus you really won't be seeing her often - other than one minor appearance in a wordless page she doesn't appear in this chapter again after this scene is over. Still, she'll be back.
Not much else to say on the subject, but another character we're about to see more with is also present here. Also I like how Randy seems interested in what's going on.

I think this page had more problems than power going out while commenting. Because I'm staring at an exact copy of page 6. Had to go to Comic Fury to see the ACTUAL page 7.
I can come up with a good theory on Laura's total inversion of stage fright. She's better on stage because up there, she's acting like someone different. Laura is shy, but the characters she plays aren't. Sometimes, there's freedom in pretending to be someone else. Well, there's that, or she could just get herself lost in the moment, forgetting there's an audience and just enjoying herself, or ignoring it for the sake of a good show. I'm the same way about piano-playing.
