Martin's Comments:
I don't have as much to say about this page myself, though hopefully my coloring is as well-liked by the rest of you as it is by Adam.

Besides that... Yeah, I dunno. Maybe for this page I should take a cue from Misfile and start putting up personal information rather than comments on the comic proper or something.

Adam's Comments:
Ugh. Was I brain-dead when I did that nursery? I mean, it's terrible. I could've done better, I swear.

Originally in the script it was just some nameless assistant who took to feeding Becky, but I wanted to use Miss Brooks again since I thought she looked neat. I think Becky was looking forward to getting fed by Power, though.

Now about Orlando... it didn't occur to me until I saw him here, but he's pretty good-looking. Well, moderately good-looking. For someone drawn in my art style, which really limits it.

When I had him in black-and-white, I thought he looked like the black lovechild of Rei Ayanami and Tony Stark, and think I was even considering re-doing him. When Martin did his colors though, I was surprised at how much cooler he looked. It shows how big a difference a color job can make.

Especially if you have an awesome colorist and a drawing style that sucks in black and white. I've got both.

Okay, since I've rambled on enough about Watchmen, I'll cut to the chase. The plot seems to be progressing slowly, but, needless to say, that's a common issue with the first chapter, so I won't hold it against you guys. It seems to me that our main characters will have their hands full with these two despite the fact that they feel they're not prepared enough to challenge Eighth Sin, but they also seem the careful and calculating kind. Once again, though, it's far too early to tell anything. In any event, I eagerly await what lies ahead.
